3D Models & Renders >Silo Tutorials

I got back into dabbling with 3D in the summer of 2004 after a break of some four or so years. 3D modelling and rendering is just something I do for fun, and something I first discovered in 1994 when I got an application called Imagine 3D by Impulse Inc. Since I began to re-aquaint myself, I have mostly concentrated on modelling - using the excellent subdivision polygon modeller, Silo. I am finally beginning to produce the odd rendered images using Softimage XSI, though I am still on a bit of a learning curve as 3D technology seems to have advanced quite a bit in the few years since. The Early Years

The following images were produced some time between 1994 and 2000 using a 3D package on the Amiga platform called Imagine 3D.
